Can I meet with a doctor online?
Yes, you can meet with a doctor online. The LifeMD medical team is a network of board-certified medical professionals with expertise across a wide range of health specialties. Each provider offers a wide range of services – including diagnosis, medication prescriptions, refills, and more!
Does online medical care work?
Telehealth is an excellent option for non-emergency medical care. LifeMD-affiliated medical professionals can help you manage health conditions and suggest a treatment plan for a wide range of medical concerns. A healthcare provider can also order lab work if needed. LifeMD-affiliated providers are accessible 24/7 in all 50 states.
What can a telehealth provider prescribe?
Telehealth doctors have the ability to prescribe most medications, as long as it’s medically appropriate. LifeMD-affiliated providers can prescribe a wide range of medications including antibiotics, allergy medications, pain relievers, and more. However, telehealth doctors cannot prescribe any medication that is classified as a controlled substance.
Do you provide doctor’s notes and sick notes?
During a consultation, LifeMD-affiliated clinicians can only provide a note stating the date when a patient was seen and that a treatment plan was established.
