Cephalexin is a prescription medication used to treat bacterial and respiratory tract infections. Its active ingredient Keflex (cephalexin) disrupts the formation of cell walls to prevent the spread of bacterial infections. It’s typically used for skin, bone, respiratory tract infections, and health conditions related to bacterial infections.
It comes in tablet, capsule, and liquid form. It should be taken within the same time frame daily with or without food.
The active ingredient in Keflex (cephalexin) works by preventing the formation of cell walls that protect harmful bacteria. Bacterial infections can lead to pneumonia, staph infections, and bone infections.
